Ylli Sallahi might be on his way out of Bayern Munich

A transfer rumor making the rounds right now suggest that Ylli Sallahi could be on his way out of Munich this winter.

While he's currently away from Bayern Munich II with the Austria U-21 side, Ylli Sallahi may be making a more permanent move away from Munich in the near future. Bild is linking the 20 year old left back with a move within Bavaria to a 2.Bundesliga team.

Greuther Fürth are in a rut having lost four of their last six matches down in the second division. They have been struggling along the left side of defense since selling Baba Rahman to Augsburg during the summer, and Fürth are targeting the young Austrian to come in and make that position his own.

When asked about their interest in Sallahi, Fürth President Helmut Hack replied, "Of course, we know the player. And, it's also clear that if we need to improve somewhere in the winter, we will do so." Manager Frank Kramer has also scouted Sallahi on multiple occasions, including in person when FCBII beat Wacker Burghausen.

While he's yet to become a regular squad player for FC Bayern, we do know that Pep Guardiola does rate Sallahi highly. He gave him a start with the first team toward the end of last season. However, with the club moving in the summer to bring in Juan Bernat, I don't get the feeling that Sallahi's immediate future is with FC Bayern. Perhaps, if this deal does go through, you'll see the club attach a buy-back clause onto the deal. Unless, they don't see a future for him a the club.
