Ahead of Bayern Munich's visit to Borussia Mönchengladbach for Sunday's main event, it appears as though Bayern will be without a star player.
Arjen Robben ist nicht mit nach Gladbach! Schon im Abschlusstraining fehlte er! @BILD_Sport @BILD #robben #FCB
— Kai Psotta (@KPsotta) October 25, 2014
That is Bild reporter Kai Psotta bringing us the news that Arjen Robben missed the final training session in Munich and didn't make the trip to Mönchengladbach. The type of injury isn't known yet, but Robben is seeking treatment with Dr. Müller-Wohlfahrt. Bayern did briefly mention that Robben had been training by himself with "minor" muscular problems.
The good news is that Franck Ribery's return to fitness will be able to give Bayern as close to a replacement that they have in the squad. It's likely that Pep Guardiola will give us a front four of Robert Lewandowski, Ribery, Mario Götze, and Thomas Müller.
Hopefully, the injury isn't an issue, and Robben returns for Bayern's DFB Pokal match with Hamburg or, if not then, Borussia Dortmund's visit to the Allianz Arena next weekend.
