Bayern Munich draw Augsburg in DFB Pokal third round

The DFB completed the third round draw for the DFB Pokal on Sunday afternoon, and Bayern Munich have learned their fate. The defending and record champions will travel to FC Augsburg in early December in a repeat of last year's third round. Bayern host Augsburg in league play in early November.

The entire Pokal draw:

FC Schalke 04 vs. TSG 1899 Hoffenheim

Eintracht Frankfurt vs. SV Sandhausen

Union Berlin vs FC Kaiserslautern

Saarbrücken vs Borussia Dortmund

Hamburg vs. FC Köln

SC Freiburg vs. Bayer Leverkusen

FC Augsburg vs. Bayern Munich

VfL Wolfsburg vs. Ingolstadt

Last year's third round match between the two sides ended with a 2-0 victory for Bayern thanks to goals from Mario Gomez and Xherdan Shaqiri. Just after halftime in that match, Franck Ribery was sent off for slapping Koo Ja-Cheol, but Bayern still managed to come out on top.
