With the next round of World Cup Qualifiers is on the docket, and FC Bayern players are back to work for their countries.
Thirteen players got the call this time. The three big names not in their national team side are Javi Martinez, Mario Götze, and Bastian Schweinsteiger, with Thiago Alcantara and Holger Badstuber not available for consideration given their long term injuries. Those five get to experience the "break" of the international break.
The high-profile game this time around is the Austria-Germany match on September 6, with Alaba taking on his German teammates as his country try to overcome Germany in Group C.
