I promised that you would see more coverage of Bayern II and Bayern Frauen this season, and I do want to expand that to updates about Bayern Munich's youth teams when we have them available. While most of the updates will be about Bayern's U19 team due to the new UEFA Youth League, occasionally we'll be able to present news like the following to you. This past weekend, Bayern's youth sides from the U9s all the way through the U17s were in action.
U9
The U9s won two games on Sunday. The first win was a 10-2 victory over TSV Ruhmannsfelden, and the second win was 12-1 over TSV Poing.
U10
The U10s finished in fourth behind FC Kaiserslautern, FSV Mainz, and RB Salzburg in a mini-tournament in Thannhausen.
U11
In a tournament in Bascharage, Luxembourg, the U11s pummeled their competition to a 20-1 scoreline.
U12
The U12s finished second in a tournament in Schloßberg. After group stage wins over Wacker Burghausen, Stützpunkt Issing, and SpVgg Landshut, Bayern went on to beat BCF Wolfratshausen in the semifinal. However, in the final rematch against Issing, Bayern fell 2-1.
U13
The U13s won a tournament in Otterfing with a 2-0 victory over TSG Hoffenheim.
U14
Bayern beat TSV Kareth-Lapppersdorf 2-0 on a brace from Franck Evina.
U15
The U15s won against FC Augsburg 2-1 with goals from Manuel Wintzheimer and Adrian Fein.
U16
A match against FSV Erlangen-Bruck ended with a 3-1 victory for Bayern. Marco Stefandl, Matthias Stingl, and Youssef Emghames were the goalscorers.
U17
The U17s won their second game of the season in the Junior B League with a 2-1 victory over FSV Mainz. The Bayern goals were scored by Michael Strein and Valentin Micheli.
