With Luiz Gustavo about to take on the Swiss National Team in Basel, reports out of Germany reveal that the 26-year-old defensive midfielder is headed to VfL Wolfsburg. No confirmation has come from the FC Bayern Website.
Die Welt initially reported the transfer done, using anonymous information as their source. ESPN FC promptly picked up the news from the German newspaper:
According to "Welt" information, the Brazilian will immediately transfer from FC Bayern to VfL Wolfsburg. There, the defensive midfielder is supposed to sign a long-term contract.

Kicker's information came next, which reveals that the transfer fee is around €20 million, roughly the same amount Goal reported Arsenal would spend for Gustavo.
The Brazilian – in opposition to differently phrased negotiations – will transfer to VfL Wolfsburg. There is no signature yet though.

The club from lower saxony is transfering €20 million to the Rekordmeisters for Luiz Gustavo, who is participating in a friendly in Switzerland.
Luiz Gustavo's agent, Roger Wittmann, announced yesterday that Gustavo will make a statement after the Friendly against Switzerland. For that reason, Arsenal, Napoli, Inter Milan, and reportedly Barcelona could all still in play.
That being said, a two source confirmation is a pretty good indicator that Gustavo will make the transfer within the Bundesliga with VfL Wolfsburg.
