The DFB have fined Bayern Munich due to the actions of supporters in three games last season.

The DFB have fined Bayern Munich a total of €20,000 for the actions of supporters in three matches last year. This brings the total amount the club was fined during the 2012-2013 season up to €35,000 after they were fined for three matches in the first half of the season. Freiburg, Mainz, Stuttgart, and Bochum were also fined by the DFB.

The three matches in question are the match away to Eintracht Frankfurt and home against Freiburg in the league and the DFB Pokal Final against Stuttgart. Flares were lit and thrown in the Frankfurt and Stuttgart matches while a supporter ran onto the field in the Freiburg match. The official fines are for "unsportsmanlike conduct" and "insufficient security".

Flares that are used safely in the stands are awesome. I love them. However, I can do without the supporters throwing them onto the field. Come on, folks. That's pointless and just gets the club in trouble. Also, don't run onto the field. It's never a bright idea. The chances are that you're going to get tackled by a security guard and then spend the rest of the game in jail. Plus, it interrupts our game!
