We're a little over two months away from the start of the 2013-2014 Bundesliga campaign, but Bayern were able to announce some impressive news about next season's attendance. Sixteen of next season's seventeen Bundesliga matches have already sold out by large margins.
If you had to take a wild guess at which league match for next season isn't sold out yet, what would you guess? Go ahead. Guess now, because I'm about to let Bayern's board director, Jan-Christian Dreesen tell you:
"For each of 16 Bundesliga home fixtures, we've received between 80,000 and 140,000 requests for tickets. The only exception is the game against Hoffenheim, due to their involvement in the promotion/relegation play-off. We have orders for ‘only' 68,000 tickets for this match."
The club has also sold out all of the away ticket allotments.
Also, Bayern have announced the sellout of this year's Uli Hoeneß Cup. Once again, FC Barcelona will be making the trip to the Allianz Arena giving Pep Guardiola a match against his old team. All of the proceeds of the match will be donated to charity.
