Falling behind an early goal is never fun. Losing two players in the first twenty five minutes of a match due to injury is even less fun. Bayern Munich were forced to substitute both Toni Kroos and Arjen Robben in the first half of Saturday's match against Hertha Berlin due to injuries.
During the match, the club was nice enough to give everyone an update on the two injuries.
.@ToniKroos' substitution was down to a groin problem. #GetWellToni #FCBBSC

#Robben's withdrawal was also because of a groin issue. Neither injury looks too serious at first glance #FCBBSC

So, while it appears that nearly player has suffered a serious injury in this match, we'll definitely be on the lookout for any updates as the day and weekend moves forward.
Luckily for FC Bayern, the team has depth unparalleled across Europe. Pep Guardiola brought on Mario Götze and Mario Mandzukic to replace the two players. However, I am growing a bit worried with the frequency of injuries this season. While most of them have been due to poor tackles by the opposition, an injury is still an injury.
Let's hope that Kroos and Robben are out for very little time and are back on the field soon.
Update:
Bayern have confirmed that the injuries to Robben and Kroos were minor, and both players expect to be ready by next weekend.
