The second round of Group Stage matches kicks off in a few minutes. Today, Greece battles Czech Republic - a win for Greece and the Czechs are mathematically eliminated even before the final match. The Greeks are in better shape, having taken a point from their first match, but they also face a dire situation if they take a loss today.

Meanwhile, Poland vs. Russia is our late game. The Russians are in control of the group with their emphatic win over Czech Republic. If they win today, they've already stamped their ticket, and even a draw puts them in pretty good shape. So Poland is the team that will really have to show some initiative and try to create offense.

If you want to see a quick summary of how things stand after the first 4 days, check yesterday's post here. As always, be polite in the comment section. If someone says something offensive or threatening, just flag their comment and it will be brought to my attention.
