Match Day Thread: FC Bayern vs. Lille OSC

Champions League matches are always important, but this one is especially big. If Bayern can get the win, the ghosts of the BATE performance are exorcised. At that point, we'd be in second place in the group (at worst) with 2 of the remaining 3 matches at home.

If Bayern is lost or held, however, big issues arise - especially against a Lille side that has been struggling with injuries and has failed to defend very well. Line-ups:

For FC Bayern:

Mandzukic

Ribery - Kroos - Mueller

Martinez - Schweinsteiger

Badstuber - Dante - Boateng - Lahm

Neuer

For Lille:

Roux

De Melo - Kalou

Balmont - Pedretti - Martin

Chedjou - Dinge - Sidibe - Beria

(or is it De Melo up front, with Roux and Kalou on either side?)

Same back 4 for Bayern, with Alaba (who is on the bench) perhaps to get some minutes later. Payet, Lille's usual target man, is also not starting. Hmm ...
