FC Bayern 0 - 0 TSG Hoffenheim

The undefeated and no-goals-allowed streaks continued today, but FC Bayern stumbled a bit in only picking up a single point, as the gang was held to a 0-0 draw against Hoffenheim. Certainly not a disaster, as we remain at the top of the table and weren't going to win every game, but this was a rather lifeless match for long stretches of the second half.

My guess in yesterday's preview was clearly off-target, as Arjen Robben started on the bench once again. Today, he at least got a full 45 minutes of work, and looked to be running smoothly. Rafinha also got a rest, with Boateng sliding into the RB spot and van Buyten playing next to Badstuber. Usami was dressed and on the bench, but didn't get any burn as Alaba was the late offensive sub.

Overall, it was a fairly punchless outing, but I will say this: for much of his scoreless streak, Manuel Neuer has been mostly a spectator, as the club controlled much of the possession and the defense cleaned up any threats early. But today, he did have to make at least two sharp saves and we easily could have lost without him.

I'm trying to find footage of Bastian's disallowed goal, but I haven't come across anything yet. On Youtube, the only thing I can find as far as "highlights" is this:

Anyone? If it's profane or insulting, I'll take it down.

'Gladbach lost and Werder Bremen plays tomorrow, so for now our lead at the top is 3 points. BVB won by 4, so maybe they're starting to right the ship. I'm going to catch the Koln game for a bit, maybe back with more after that. Seems like a good time for an international break, the boys looked a little worn out today.
