Sebastian Rode will "surely be out" of Bayern Munich's Bundesliga match against Werder Bremen on Saturday, according to kicker. The German magazine says a timetable for his return is still unclear.
Kicker found out that there are no thoughts on team training in the coming week. A prognosis for the midfielders downtime is hard, but Rode will quite surely be out of the away match at Werder Bremen.
Rode, who turned 25 years old on Sunday, has missed Bayern's last two matches against Dinamo Zagreb and Borussia Dortmund with a thigh injury. He has made just one start for Bayern Munich against SV Darmstadt in mid-September, one of his two appearances so far this season.
Kicker went on to report Juan Bernat's return to action is still open. Bernat missed Bayern's Klassiker triumph against Dortmund with a groin injury. There is still no update on Kinglsey Coman though, who had to leave France U21's match against Scotland U21 with a thigh injury.
