According to an article on the official Bayern website, the light at the end of the tunnel is getting a lot closer for the injured players on Bayern's roster.

Mario Gomez has dropped his crutches (last Thursday), and is sweating his butt off on the stationary bike. He reports that he is no longer feeling pain in the ankle, and he is working on conditioning as well as increasing flexibility in his operated joint.
He is joined in his biking by Diego Contento, who is almost ready to start running.
Not quite as far along, but right on schedule, is David Alaba. They removed his walking boot, and he is working out on a special treadmill that allows him to walk with reduced weight on the leg. He's working on building up his muscles in his foot and calf, and says that he hopes to join the team in 2 to 3 weeks.
