Let's just do one post for the whole first day, because I think a lot of people will be watching both matches. Borussia Dortmund battles hosts Hamburger SV in the opener, followed by Bayern vs. Werder Bremen in the late game.
A reminder: these are 60 minute matches, with free substitutions and no extra time in the event of a draw. It would go straight to the kicks. Another reminder: please avoid any threats, rudeness and excessive profanity in the comment section. Let's hope we can see FC Bayern flash some good skills and hopefully score some goals, but even more importantly, let's hope for an injury free day.
We can add the starting line-ups for each match once we get started, I just wanted to get this post up so people who were watching could come check in. Gettin' close to real football, y'all. I can almost smell it.
