In the final outing before the winter break, FC Bayern Munich travels to nearby Augsburg in a win-or-go-home cup match. Bayern won the recent league meeting between the two sides, but the action was hard-fought, as derby matches often are.
Line-ups aren't available yet, we'll post them in the comment section as they become available. Just wanted to throw up this post to (1) give people a chance to discuss the early matches (with my pick for an upset, Karlsruhe, already losing), and (2) tell everyone that the Bayern match appears to be scheduled for live coverage on ESPN 3.
It looks like ESPN 3's broadcast will kick off at 2:25 PM my time, 8:25 PM local (Augsburg) time. As always, we'll be back afterwards with a recap and highlights.
