German Football Clubs Dominate European Competition

Dean Mouhtaropoulos

In 7 mid-week matches between the Champions League and the Europa League, teams from Germany's 1. Bundesliga proved their mettle with 6 wins and a draw. Bayern led the way, but Dortmund, Schalke, and even Hannover 96 are all earning their stripes across the continent.

I promised some we'd try to move towards real video highlights. We're not there yet, but this at least has some game stills spliced in:

Alert students will note that I make an error near the end (I characterize the week as 6 wins and 1 loss, rather than 6 wins and a draw). But I don't feel like going back to do it again, and my wife is trying to sleep.

If you don't get video on your computer or device, don't worry - you ain't missing much. Back with the Bayer Levs preview tomorrow. Thanks for reading.
